We provide advice to our clients about their Residential or Commercial borrowing requirements, 1st Mortgages, 2nd Mortgages, Caveat Lending, Life Insurance products, Home and Contents insurance and KiwiSaver.
We do not provide advice on legal matters, taxation, estate planning or the buying and selling of shares, but can refer you to appropriately qualified people that do.
We only provide financial advice about products from certain providers:
For 1st Mortgages, we work with the majority of the Banks.
We also have access to a number of Non-Bank Lenders and specialist Finance Companies.
We will not provide advice on whole of life or endowment products, so you will need to consult a specialist if you would like advice on those products.
For Home and Contents insurance, we work with one provider Stylecover.
For mortgages, Oregon Financial Services Ltd will receive commissions from the banks with whom we arrange mortgages. If you decide to take out the mortgage, the bank will pay a commission. The amount of the commission is based on the sum that is being borrowed.
We may charge a fee for the financial advice provided to a client where a client utilises funding provided by a Non-Bank or specialist Finance Company. Whether a fee will be charged and the manner in which it will be charged will be advised when the advice is provided to the client.
For life insurance Advice Oregon Financial Services Ltd will receive commissions from the insurance companies on whose policies we give advice. If you decide to take out insurance, the insurer will pay a commission to us. The amount of the commission is based on the amount of the annual premium.

Whether a fee will be charged and the manner in which it will be charged will be advised when the advice is provided to the client.
