RBNZ Keeps Full Court Press with OCR Raise of 0.50%

The Reserve Bank kept the pressure on interest rates by raising the OCR, for the 5th time in a row, by 0.50% to 3.50%.

Rather unusually it noted they considered lifting by 0.75%.

The bias remains to the upside with further hikes expected and forecasted.
